OLVENIQ Saddlery — handcrafted in the European Union
The Balmoral belongs to our dressage line, where every gram of leather serves the connection between seat and back. It is a saddle designed to disappear, leaving only the conversation.
We work exclusively with full-grain European calfskin and English bridle butts, tanned slowly with oak and mimosa bark. Each hide is rested, stuffed with tallow and waxes, then burnished by hand — a rhythm of work unchanged for a century, and the reason OLVENIQ leather ages into character rather than wear.
Design & Craftsmanship
- Seamless deep seat construction with no pressure ridges under the rider
- Long, straight flap with a discreet knee roll supporting a quiet, elongated leg
- Hand-stitched in our European atelier — eight stitches to the inch in waxed linen thread
- Delivered in a cotton dust bag inside our deep-green saddle trunk carton
- Each hide vegetable-tanned for six weeks by a single family tannery
- Stainless-steel stirrup bars, recessed and hand-polished

Care
Wipe dust and sweat after each use with a barely damp cloth, then feed the leather monthly with the OLVENIQ Leather Balsam. Keep away from direct heat, allow wet leather to dry naturally, and store on a shaped rack or padded hook. Treated with respect, this piece will serve for decades and acquire a patina unique to your stable.
