OLVENIQ Saddlery — handcrafted in the European Union
The Contessa was drawn around a single image: the rider folded quietly over a 1.50 m oxer, saddle invisible beneath them. Forward-cut, close and fast, it is jumping equipment reduced to what matters in the air.
Cut, skived, stitched and edge-painted entirely by hand in our European atelier, this piece uses saddlery techniques measured in hours, not minutes: eight stitches to the inch, linen thread drawn through beeswax, edges sealed and polished until they feel like glass.
Design & Craftsmanship
- Shallow, close seat allowing effortless transition between phases of the jump
- Seamless deep seat construction with no pressure ridges under the rider
- Full-grain Tuscan calfskin seat and flaps with English bridle-leather skirts
- Stainless-steel stirrup bars, recessed and hand-polished
- Hand-stitched in our European atelier — eight stitches to the inch in waxed linen thread
- Each hide vegetable-tanned for six weeks by a single family tannery
- Reinforced knee pads hidden beneath the flap for five-star durability
