OLVENIQ Saddlery — handcrafted in the European Union
Built bench-by-bench like the great Texan saddles but finished with European restraint, the Elbe is working western equipment for owners who notice edges and stitching.
Cut, skived, stitched and edge-painted entirely by hand in our European atelier, this piece uses saddlery techniques measured in hours, not minutes: eight stitches to the inch, linen thread drawn through beeswax, edges sealed and polished until they feel like glass.
Design & Craftsmanship
- Delivered in a cotton dust bag inside our deep-green saddle trunk carton
- Cheyenne-roll cantle and deep pocketed seat for long, secure hours
- V-system billets in English bridle butt for an even, stable girthing line
- Hand-tooled skirting leather in our quiet OLVENIQ floral pattern — decoration without excess
- Edges skived, folded and edge-painted by hand — no raw cuts anywhere on the saddle
- Matching tooled fenders, jockeys and skirts cut from a single hide batch

Care
Wipe dust and sweat after each use with a barely damp cloth, then feed the leather monthly with the OLVENIQ Leather Balsam. Keep away from direct heat, allow wet leather to dry naturally, and store on a shaped rack or padded hook. Treated with respect, this piece will serve for decades and acquire a patina unique to your stable.
