OLVENIQ Saddlery — handcrafted in the European Union

The Fontainebleau reins are rolled by hand around a linen core until they feel like one living line from bit to glove — then finished with stops and buckles that will outlast the decade.

The leather is selected hide by hide from a single family-run tannery in Tuscany, vegetable-tanned over six weeks and finished by hand until it develops the deep, quiet lustre that no accelerated process can imitate. Our saddlers cut every panel along the natural grain, so the piece breaks in gracefully and grows more beautiful with each season of use.

Care

Wipe dust and sweat after each use with a barely damp cloth, then feed the leather monthly with the OLVENIQ Leather Balsam. Keep away from direct heat, allow wet leather to dry naturally, and store on a shaped rack or padded hook. Treated with respect, this piece will serve for decades and acquire a patina unique to your stable.
