OLVENIQ Saddlery — handcrafted in the European Union
The Grandeur is our answer to a simple question: what does a dressage saddle feel like when nothing is allowed to distract the seat? Built around an ultra-narrow twist and a panel shaped for uphill movement, it places the rider motionless at the centre of the horse.
Cut, skived, stitched and edge-painted entirely by hand in our European atelier, this piece uses saddlery techniques measured in hours, not minutes: eight stitches to the inch, linen thread drawn through beeswax, edges sealed and polished until they feel like glass.
Design & Craftsmanship
- Wool-flocked panels shaped on the bench, allowing millimetre-precise fitting and future adjustment
- Each hide vegetable-tanned for six weeks by a single family tannery
- V-system billets in English bridle butt for an even, stable girthing line
- Edges skived, folded and edge-painted by hand — no raw cuts anywhere on the saddle
- Cut-back head plate giving generous wither freedom for uphill movers
- Extended panel gusset distributing weight across the full saddle-support area
- External thigh blocks in moulded memory foam, repositionable by your fitter

Care
Wipe dust and sweat after each use with a barely damp cloth, then feed the leather monthly with the OLVENIQ Leather Balsam. Keep away from direct heat, allow wet leather to dry naturally, and store on a shaped rack or padded hook. Treated with respect, this piece will serve for decades and acquire a patina unique to your stable.
