The Highclere is our answer to a simple question: what does a dressage saddle feel like when nothing is allowed to distract the seat? Built around an ultra-narrow twist and a panel shaped for uphill movement, it places the rider motionless at the centre of the horse.

We work exclusively with full-grain European calfskin and English bridle butts, tanned slowly with oak and mimosa bark. Each hide is rested, stuffed with tallow and waxes, then burnished by hand — a rhythm of work unchanged for a century, and the reason OLVENIQ leather ages into character rather than wear.

• Full-grain Tuscan calfskin seat and flaps with English bridle-leather skirts
• Long, straight flap with a discreet knee roll supporting a quiet, elongated leg
• Edges skived, folded and edge-painted by hand — no raw cuts anywhere on the saddle
• Signature old-gold nameplate, individually numbered

Care

Clean with a glycerine saddle soap as needed and condition sparingly — quality leather prefers little and often. Avoid oils in excess, which soften structure.
