OLVENIQ Saddlery — handcrafted in the European Union
The Imperial girth is shaped from pressure studies, not habit: a crescent cut behind the elbow, a cushioned lining that stays supple, and buckles that roll rather than drag.
Cut, skived, stitched and edge-painted entirely by hand in our European atelier, this piece uses saddlery techniques measured in hours, not minutes: eight stitches to the inch, linen thread drawn through beeswax, edges sealed and polished until they feel like glass.
Design & Craftsmanship
- Anatomic crescent shape cut away behind the elbow for full shoulder freedom
- Central D-rings for training aids, reinforced into the girth core
- Doubled and stitched roller-buckle chapes with stainless rollers

Care
Wipe dust and sweat after each use with a barely damp cloth, then feed the leather monthly with the OLVENIQ Leather Balsam. Keep away from direct heat, allow wet leather to dry naturally, and store on a shaped rack or padded hook. Treated with respect, this piece will serve for decades and acquire a patina unique to your stable.
Questions, Answered
Does it match other OLVENIQ pieces?
Yes — leathers, dyes and hardware are standardised across the collection, so bridle, breastplate and saddle age together as one set.
