OLVENIQ Saddlery — handcrafted in the European Union

Versatility is usually a compromise; in the Insignia it is a specification. A balanced seat, a semi-forward flap and hand-flocked panels make it the one saddle a serious amateur actually needs.

Cut, skived, stitched and edge-painted entirely by hand in our European atelier, this piece uses saddlery techniques measured in hours, not minutes: eight stitches to the inch, linen thread drawn through beeswax, edges sealed and polished until they feel like glass.

Design & Craftsmanship

  • Softer half-blocks giving guidance without dictating the position
  • Balance point calibrated on a measuring bench before dispatch
  • V-system billets in English bridle butt for an even, stable girthing line
  • All-round panel profile fitting a wide range of sport-horse backs
  • Stainless-steel stirrup bars, recessed and hand-polished
  • Semi-forward flap suiting a versatile leg position across disciplines

Care

Wipe dust and sweat after each use with a barely damp cloth, then feed the leather monthly with the OLVENIQ Leather Balsam. Keep away from direct heat, allow wet leather to dry naturally, and store on a shaped rack or padded hook. Treated with respect, this piece will serve for decades and acquire a patina unique to your stable.

Questions, Answered

How do I know my seat size?
Your fitter will confirm it, but as guidance: most riders take 17" or 17.5"; longer thigh or a preference for a roomier seat suggests 18".

What warranty applies?
The tree carries a 10-year warranty, leather and workmanship 5 years, subject to normal care — the longest cover we know of in the industry.
