OLVENIQ Saddlery — handcrafted in the European Union
Specialist sports deserve specialist equipment, not adaptations; the Marengo was patterned, tested and refined inside its own discipline from the first prototype.
The leather is selected hide by hide from a single family-run tannery in Tuscany, vegetable-tanned over six weeks and finished by hand until it develops the deep, quiet lustre that no accelerated process can imitate. Our saddlers cut every panel along the natural grain, so the piece breaks in gracefully and grows more beautiful with each season of use.
Design & Craftsmanship
- English leather and technical materials in equal, honest measure
- Cut for the specific geometry of the discipline, not adapted from another
- Hardware over-specified for the loads of fast, repeated play and training
- Supported by our fitters with discipline-specific sizing guidance

Care
Clean with a glycerine saddle soap as needed and condition sparingly — quality leather prefers little and often. Avoid oils in excess, which soften structure. We offer a full refurbishment service: stitching, flocking and finish can be renewed at our atelier at any point in the piece's life.
Questions, Answered
What is the lead time?
Pieces in stock dispatch within 48 hours; made-to-order items take 3–5 weeks depending on the season.
Is the leather ready to use?
Yes — every piece is conditioned, waxed and inspected before dispatch. A light wipe with balsam after the first wet ride is all we suggest.
The OLVENIQ Promise
As with everything that carries the OLVENIQ mark, this piece arrives with insured white-glove delivery, our extended house warranty and lifetime access to our master saddlers and technicians for adjustments and advice.
