OLVENIQ Saddlery — handcrafted in the European Union

Built for riders who walk distances twice, the Meridian offers instant leg position, a shallow secure seat and leather that grips exactly as much as you need at the moment you need it.

Only the tightest, cleanest sections of each hide meet our standard; the rest is set aside. What remains is leather with a dense, silky hand that holds its shape in work yet softens beautifully to the touch — the signature of slow European tanning and patient handwork.

Design & Craftsmanship

  • Delivered in a cotton dust bag inside our deep-green saddle trunk carton
  • Reinforced knee pads hidden beneath the flap for five-star durability
  • Dual-density latex-and-wool panel absorbing landing forces
  • Shallow, close seat allowing effortless transition between phases of the jump
  • Anatomic cutaway at the shoulder freeing the scapula at maximum bascule
  • V-system billets in English bridle butt for an even, stable girthing line
  • Forward-cut flap with calf-leather blocks positioning the leg instantly over fences

Clean with a glycerine saddle soap as needed and condition sparingly — quality leather prefers little and often. Avoid oils in excess, which soften structure.

Questions, Answered

Together with our exchange policy on standard specifications, you can be entirely certain before the saddle stays.

How do I know my seat size?
Your fitter will confirm it, but as guidance: most riders take 17" or 17.5"; longer thigh or a preference for a roomier seat suggests 18".
