Designed on pressure-mapping studies and finished like jewellery, the Moravia is the breastplate for horses whose saddles must not move and whose shoulders must.

Only the tightest, cleanest sections of each hide meet our standard; the rest is set aside. What remains is leather with a dense, silky hand that holds its shape in work yet softens beautifully to the touch — the signature of slow European tanning and patient handwork.

Design & Craftsmanship

• Five-point anatomical cut spreading pressure across the chest, never the shoulder
• Elasticated inserts at every attachment, sheathed in rolled calf
• Sheepskin-lined wither and chest pads, removable for cleaning
• Old-gold or matte stainless fittings, individually cast and polished
• Stitched in waxed linen at eight stitches to the inch — no rivets anywhere

Care

Wipe dust and sweat after each use with a barely damp cloth, then feed the leather monthly with the OLVENIQ Leather Balsam. Keep away from direct heat, allow wet leather to dry naturally, and store on a shaped rack or padded hook. Treated with respect, this piece will serve for decades and acquire a patina unique to your stable.
