OLVENIQ Saddlery — handcrafted in the European Union

The Valour double bridle is built for the top of the levels: two bits, four reins, and not a millimetre of unnecessary leather anywhere on the head.

Only the tightest, cleanest sections of each hide meet our standard; the rest is set aside. What remains is leather with a dense, silky hand that holds its shape in work yet softens beautifully to the touch — the signature of slow European tanning and patient handwork.

Design & Craftsmanship

  • Stitched in waxed linen at eight stitches to the inch — no rivets anywhere
  • Browband finished with our discreet signature gold pin-line
  • Contoured, tapering noseband padded with memory foam over softest calf lining
  • Supplied with matching hand-rolled reins in the same hide batch
  • Anatomically curved headpiece relieving poll pressure with a soft padded contour
  • Hand-rolled cheekpieces and throatlash in English bridle leather

Care

Clean with a glycerine saddle soap as needed and condition sparingly — quality leather prefers little and often. Avoid oils in excess, which soften structure. We offer a full refurbishment service: stitching, flocking and finish can be renewed at our atelier at any point in the piece's life.

Questions, Answered

Can hardware be customised?
Brass, matte stainless and our signature old-gold finishes are available on most pieces, along with monogrammed keepers, through the bespoke programme.

Which size should I choose?
Cob suits most smaller-framed horses and large ponies; Full fits the majority of warmbloods. Detailed measuring charts are included on this page, and our fitters are happy to confirm from photographs.
