OLVENIQ Saddlery — handcrafted in the European Union
Developed with Grand Prix riders over three seasons, the Verona pairs a close, quiet seat with the structural calm of a hand-fitted tree — a dressage saddle for riders who measure success in half-halts nobody saw.
We work exclusively with full-grain European calfskin and English bridle butts, tanned slowly with oak and mimosa bark. Each hide is rested, stuffed with tallow and waxes, then burnished by hand — a rhythm of work unchanged for a century, and the reason OLVENIQ leather ages into character rather than wear.
Design & Craftsmanship
- Seamless deep seat construction with no pressure ridges under the rider
- Grippy full-grain seat finish that stabilises the seat without restricting the pelvis
- Full-grain Tuscan calfskin seat and flaps with English bridle-leather skirts
- V-system billets in English bridle butt for an even, stable girthing line
- Hand-stitched in our European atelier — eight stitches to the inch in waxed linen thread
- Extended panel gusset distributing weight across the full saddle-support area
- Adjustable spring-steel tree, fitted and guaranteed for ten years

Care
Clean with a glycerine saddle soap as needed and condition sparingly — quality leather prefers little and often. Avoid oils in excess, which soften structure. We offer a full refurbishment service: stitching, flocking and finish can be renewed at our atelier at any point in the piece's life.
Questions, Answered
What is the delivery time?
Each saddle is made to order in our European atelier. Standard lead time is 6–8 weeks; a priority service is available on request through your concierge.
How do I know my seat size?
Your fitter will confirm it, but as guidance: most riders take 17" or 17.5"; longer thigh or a preference for a roomier seat suggests 18".
The OLVENIQ Promise
As with everything that carries the OLVENIQ mark, this piece arrives with insured white-glove delivery, our extended house warranty and lifetime access to our master saddlers and technicians for adjustments and advice.
